Lone Pine's Latest

Miss Gertie Slocum is now visiting relatives in Alexandria.

 

Miss Alice Glaze of Pine Prairie, who has been visiting Miss Ellen Griffin of this place, ended her visit here Saturday.  We hope she enjoyed her stay in Lone Pine.

 

Rev. Middleton of Pineville will 'fill his regular appointment here at the Baptist church by having service at 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m..  Every one is cordially invited to attend, regardless of church or creed.

 

Messrs. Leroy Wall and Carl McDonald, accompanied by Misses Alice and Viola Curtis, were seen out for a walk Sunday evening. From all appearances they seem to have been enjoying themselves.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hussey and daughter Bonnie 'Eloise accompanied by Mrs. Joseph E. Johnson and children motored to' St. Landry Sunday, where they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles -Tatman.  

 

Mrs. Andrew Creels and son Maxie Lee of Reeves spent sev­eral days here with her parents,. Mr. and Mrs. R. D. SIobum.

 

Messrs Johnie Barton and Charlie Curtis and Miss Francis­ Jones motored through Lone Pine Sunday evening on Pleasure.
